It keeps you young and your perspective fresh. When you are deeply honest with yourself and others you awaken the light of truth within and then everything becomes alive in the moment. Nothing is certain, possibilities are endless and all our illusory vices come crashing down in front of us when we realize, there is no such thing as playing it safe. ‘Playing it safe’ is killing your passion. And your passion is what will keep you alive.
It is one of those beautiful paradox’s that reminds us to be safe – to truly and eternally foster our Spirit, we must learn to live passionate lives!
I have just completed the 3rd annual Martha’s Vineyard Retreat with the most extraordinary group of women. I am still blown away by the intimate experience we co+created together – with each woman’s willingness to open up to the truth, to speak it, paint it, dance it, share it and live it. The earth shook underneath the painting barn as each one ignited their passion with paint. Everyone left more expanded and inspired and awake than when they came. There were breakdowns and breakthroughs all gently held and nourished in this magical island retreat.
