How to Clear Clear your Canvas for 2013

1. Write out everything you are grateful for in 2012.
Two lists: successes & accomplishments

2. Why were you grateful?
Tip: clues for what you want to create in 2013 lie inside!

3.What wants to be forgiven? Who do I need to forgive? Whom do I need to ask forgiveness? Where do I need to forgive myself?
Make a list. Check it twice. The more you are willing to allow the truth of how you feel to surface, the more freedom and clarity you will ultimately experience.

4.What do I want to let go of in 2012?
What patterns, beliefs, people, foods, behaviors no longer serve your joy or affirm your authentic self?

Allow your intuition to guide your answers and follow your gut!

Courage is the fuel that brings to life our heart’s desire.  Most people look at what lies buried inside, deep within their hearts with regret.  There is this spark.  This seed of light, beauty and love that requires faith, courage and action for with to turn on.  Kindling for the heart of the soul so to speak.  The more we nurture this spark with faith, courage and aligned action towards bringing a vision into realization, the more we actualize our true potential.

The thing I hear most from my clients (..and frankly have seen in my own process) is not that ‘I don’t know what I am passionate about’….the thing I hear and see the most is a lack of faith, courage and follow through with consistent action that keeps people stuck in fear.

The false reality behind this of course is that it is easier to remain stuck, or so the gremlin filled little mind so thinks…than it is to breakout of this debilitating thinking and stretch beyond our comfort zones to break new ground and take a stand for what is truly burning in your heart. 

For most, it is when the pain becomes too unbearable, that the breakthrough happens.  When we are unwilling to  do anything else but deeply love ourselves and honor our full creative potential that we, in a radical act of love, break-free.

Never enough love, never enough money, never enough attention, never enough time, never enough_____  (you fill in the blank)!  It is so rampant in our society and mass consciousness that it would be a surprise if you were free of this cultural epidemic.  Scarcity thinking is reflected to us by advertising, social expectations and even through some religions.

So what is underneath this surface fear?  The belief that we are not enough.  The belief that human potential and creativity is limited, the belief that we need something outside of ourselves to make us whole, complete and worthy.

I am of the mind that transcending this belief and finding the truth about our true nature of abundance, that everything is inside of us if we atTUNE in to it,  is part of our human condition and life lesson.   Fully awakening to prosperity from the inside out.  Part of the work our soul’s are here to do during this point in our evolutionary growth as a species is to realize our full Creative Potential as a Divine expression of the Creator and Source of all that is.  When we realize the Self within, we realize our infinite abundance.  There is always something to create, to imagine, to dream to vision. Endless possibilities abound!  There is always a blank canvas available in every moment.

I am by no means, 100% there, myself. When I do fall prey to my own scarcity mind-ed, lacking infested gremlin of a fear, I realize it’s just fear, and I do something creative to remind me of the infinite possibility that lies dorment in life unless we awaken and use it.

As we embark on the holiday season, let us remember that we have the opportunity to create our own experience.  Sometimes just this realization -as our desires lead us to our next level of growth and out of our comfort zone-  will bring up fearful, attacking thoughts.

I know as I commit to a new vision and desire for my life experience it brings up loads of self-doubt and opportunities for self-sabotage.  And this is the journey…yes?  Can we manage our thoughts, where we focus our mind on loving, compassionate beliefs and attitudes as disciplined warriors of creativity?  Being  generative and evolving…rather than fearful and contracting?  It always bears down to this…as I witness my own journey and many of my clients, colleagues and friends…will you chose LOVE?  or will you chose FEAR?  I chose LOVE as a practice that allows me to open up to truth and flow.  What will you choose?

When you’re stuck and things are less than flowing…have you ever thought– ” This sucks, what would make me feel good?”

Actually I started feeling a bit of this when righting this blog post! I was like…OK I need to shift this cause I am starting to get anxious about my upcoming retreat this weekend and how we have two spaces left and I really want some wonderful woman to know how amazing this experience is and to gift it to herself!  I was all up in my head,  and began to stress about it then…bam!  I thought immediately…what is my pleasure?  What would feel really good to me right now?

I just returned from LA where I attend a women’s business immersion on The Feminine Art of Manifesting with Rose Cole and Gina Devee at the Huntley in Santa Monica.  It was part biz – part spiritual retreat- part healing the collective repressed feminine line in all of us.  And it was at a cool funky boutique hotel in Santa Monica.

Yes it was powerful.  Yes it was intense.  Breakthroughs were had by all.  Epiphanies transcended.  Love and light Reborn. Life long connections and collaborations were made.  And yet the question of the weekend was what is your pleasure…?  Do you have enough pleasure in your life?  Are you connected to joy and beauty and FLOW? As a women entrepreneur this is a whole new way of doing business.  It aint’ the way of the past where it was all about action, sweat and tears with little strategy and vision and the most important ingredient:  JOY!

Themes that showed up for most of us were around what blocks us from manifesting joy to giving permission to live in our hearts true desire.  Such as believing we aren’t worthy to have what we truly want, family patterns and karma, LB’s (limiting beliefs) that keep us stuck in unhealthy patterns of fear and self-sabotage learning to receive deeply and trust in the Creative Source at a much deeper level, when you are creating a much bigger life.

What I loved so much about being with these wonderful powerful women healers, teachers, and coaches from around the world is that we are all facing the same dance with our unconscious mind, learning to re-program our thinking and lead with our hearts so we may learn to evolve ourselves and support the evolution of others to we can create a better place for us, our children and all living things on this planet.

And to think…it all starts with pleasure and permission, allow yourself to receive the joy, beautify and juiciness that life and love have to offer.
